Questions and answers
How long is a session?
The length you book is the length you get, on the table and under the sheet. Time to settle and to get dressed again is on top of it.
What do I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable in. You undress to your comfort, and a sheet and blanket cover you for the whole session.
Am I covered the whole time?
Yes. Only the part being worked on is uncovered, and it's covered again before Fran moves on.
Can I stop?
Yes, at any time and for any reason. Say so and the session pauses or ends right away.
How do I set the pressure?
Fran asks before you start and checks again as she goes. You can ask for lighter, firmer or slower whenever you like.
What happens at a first visit?
A few minutes to talk about pressure and anything to leave alone, then the session. The first visit page has the steps from booking to the porch.
How often should I come?
As often as suits you. Some people come once a month, some for a season, some when the week has been long.
Should I tip?
Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay at the studio.
What if I'm not sure massage is right for me right now?
Ask your doctor before you book. This is therapeutic massage, and Fran doesn't diagnose.
How does pricing work?
The length of the session sets the price, and it shows on the booking page before you confirm. The pricing page has the rest.
Still wondering?
Send a message and Fran will answer between sessions.
